Beautiful Flowers

While we were at my in-laws last weekend I couldn't help but take a few photos of my father-in-law's beautiful flowers in his backyard. While he hybridizes gladiola bulbs and has a big garden for those and all of his vegetables, his backyard is also filled with a variety of flowers and plants that bloom all through the spring, summer, and fall. So I pulled out my portrait lens and snapped a few of the flowers. This is why I don't even attempt to try and garden at my house. Hostas and minimal maintanence perennials are what I prefer.
